On a winter night, two travelers find themselves stranded at a train station when their connecting train is delayed. They decide to make the most of the frustrating situation by grabbing a quick bite to eat. Just outside the station, across a small park, they reach a McDonald's restaurant. A dull, ordinary place — everything seems just as it always is. But then they are confronted with something entirely unexpected.

Director's statementWith this film, I wanted to challenge the way we take human-made conditions for granted. Our relationships to production and to other people are constantly presented as natural, even though they are just as artificial as they are changeable. So far, these conditions have simply been changed without conscious awareness.
It is possible to imagine an everyday life that feels just as natural and self-evident as our own, yet is shaped by entirely different ways of relating to one another.
