Julia's first public film was the result of a year-long project with girls from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The girls used a music video to show their personal perspective on their district and were able to convey a positive image of the quarter. “You and me” was awarded with regional film prize at Bamberg Short Film Festival.
“They really are just beautiful” is her first fiction short film. The film was produced entirely on a voluntary basis and without a budget by amateurs in their free time.
