Director Biography - Egidio Prudenzano

Egidio Prudenzano is an Italian filmmaker and photographer.

In 2022 he got a bachelor degree in Alma Mater Studiorum - Dams of Bologna.

In 2025 he was among the founders of the ENDERWELT collective.

Currently is taking a master in Cinema in IULM University - Milan.

His research focuses on exploring the possibilities of an image of the contemporary that is aware and ethical.

Collecting images from the end of the word, real and hallucinated visions of the aporias of our time.
In the heart of the Chinese province, far from the glittering development of ultramodern megacities, lies the speculative failure of a large financial group. At the center of one of the more than fifty ghost towns born from the bursting of a great speculative bubble, with eerie indifference, stands, like a graft of life in abandonment, a gaudy, fully functioning playground. In a collapsing world, surrounded by postwar desolation, children grow up jumping to the rhythm of a cheerful ditty.
