It is a special pleasure for me to welcome you to the BEYOND Film Festival 2024 here in Feuchtwangen on the Romantic Road. Our town, characterised by a unique blend of historical tradition and modern progress, is the ideal place to reflect on the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.
Feuchtwangen, known for its cultural diversity and as an important industrial and commercial centre, also stands for the balance between tradition and innovation. It is precisely this balance that is reflected in the BEYOND film festival, which dares to look to the future without forgetting the roots of our society.
This year's festival theme ‘UTOPIA, DYSTOPIA, COMEDY’ invites us to confront the pressing issues of our time - the social crises, the challenges of artificial intelligence and the threat of ecological change.
